If you have been diagnosed with prostate cancer and your PSA is under 10 (Gleason score under 7), then you may be able to get away without surgery or radiation. Many men have some form of prostate cancer as they reach into their 70’s and 80’s. They commonly die of other diseases, and not of prostate cancer itself unless it is very aggressive.
