Pancreatic cancer is the 8th most common cancer in women and 10th most common cancer in men. Around 13 in 100,000 people will get pancreatic cancer in their lifetimes. There is no screening test that is good at detecting cancer without causing too many false positives (tests that show you have cancer, but you don’t really).
