Wow. After years of actively prescribing magnesium for leg cramps, with outstanding success, I couldn’t find any studies to confirm this in large trials.  I think we need to keep digging on this one. Perhaps another trial using folks with a verifiable magnesium deficiency? Check serum magnesium levels on every subject in the end to develop a protocol for a minimal magnesium blood level?
