I did a deep dive and produced my own linear regression graph to show the vaccination rates in all 50 states. Then I compared it to both COVID deaths per million and excess deaths (which would account for numbers over the expected range). Both were statistically significant. To put it bluntly, vaccines are likely the most powerful single tool we can use to lower COVID deaths. Nothing else even seems to come close.
