MedHead Message:

I have patients who are hawking HGH (Human Growth Hormone) and touting that “it does everything!” including “curing” depression. So I thought I’d look into it. It turns out there are exactly no clinical studies on HGH and mood or depression in the general population. Please, do yourself a favor and don’t buy HGH products over the counter, which are essentially worthless anyway unless it is injected.
