It looks like dark chocolate is healthy for you. Not milk chocolate, not sweet chocolate–the dark, bitter stuff. Don’t go hog wild on Hershey’s and the rest. That’s going to be bad. The effects aren’t large in any of these studies either. This is probably why dark chocolate is not promoted more–good for you if dark chocolate, bad for you if milk chocolate. I’d probably suggest somewhere around 85% cocoa is going to be the proverbial “sweet spot”.  It may be something to consider if you  need something with just a little sweetness. Be sure to take your other medications if you have pre-existing heart disease. Again, this is only an add-on and use it moderately.
