MedHead Message:
I know this is controversial. However, in one survey of over 1000 plastic surgeons, 7% of patients who had the surgery were diagnosed with anaplastic large cell lymphoma. That is NOT rare. Additionally, immune and connective tissue disease have been associated with breast implant surgery. While most patients express satisfaction after surgery, it is, in fact a FOREIGN BODY, that your body mounts an immune response to. Some women have very severe and debilitating immune dysfunction following surgery. Be proud of who you already are, and spend the money on a trip to the French Riviera or Greece.
